Sublingual gland. Semi-thin section (0.5 micrometres thick) stained with toluidine blue and embedded in a synthetic resin. Seen here are several mixed tubulo-acini with a predominance of the mucous component. Near the upper right corner, there is a striated duct. Magnification: x360 when printed at 10 centimetres across.
