Spruce Tree House
Spruce Tree House is the third largest cliff dwelling of the several hundred in Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado. It contained about 114 rooms and eight kivas, two of which are seen in the foreground with ladders for access. The Park Service reconstructed the roofs of these two kivas. The dwelling was built by Ancestral Puebloans (Anasazi) between 1200 and 1276 A.D.
