This color enhanced, coronal (frontal) MRI image from a person with Graves Disease (toxic thyroid goiter) shows prominent thickening of the medial and inferior rectus muscles in the right (your left, dark red) orbit consistent with thyroid ophthalamopathy (thyroid eye disease).
