Long-tailed cormorant (Phalacrocorax africanus) with a plastic ring around its neck. This bird feeds on small fish, frogs, insects and crustaceans. It is found near water throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Discarded rubbish from human activity can pose a serious health risk to wildlife.
