Katharina Kepler Accused of Witchcraft
Description:
The executioner of Stuttgart shows Katharina Kepler (1546 - 1622) the instruments of torture he will use on her if she does not confess. In 1615, a witch trial was initiated by Lutherus Einhorn who accused 15 women of sorcery. Johannes Kepler, the mathematician, defended his mother, and was allowed to take her away.
