Description: Internet. Conceptual computer artwork representing the internet, including electronic mail (e-mail) and the World Wide Web (WWW). The symbol '@' (meaning 'at') is used in the address of the users of e-mail. The internet is an international network of computers which allows users to send and receive text and images by e-mail, and also access such data held on other computers using the WWW. The binary system represents numbers and computer commands with a series of '0's and '1's. Computers use it to communicate with each other because an electric pulse can be used to represent a '1', whilst the absence of a pulse registers a '0'.
