Roman aqueduct (locally El Puente) in the city of Segovia, Spain. It is the last surviving segment of a once 118 km long structure providing the town with water from the Sierra Guadarrama; 823 m long and up to 28 m high it crosses the New Town. A masterpiece of Roman engineering, it is still in use today. A World Heritage site.
