Pterosaur with human and giraffe, artwork
Description:
Pterosaur with human and giraffe, artwork. This pterosaur belongs to the Azhdarchidae family of gigantic pterosaurs that had wingspans of up to 11 meters. It is depicted here standing on all four limbs next to a modern giraffe and human for scale. Pterosaurs were thought to use their front wings as a pair of front legs and were able to use all four limbs to run, hop, jump and launch themselves for flight.
