Ovarian cancer is common in women over 50. The survival rate is low because the cancer is often widespread by the time symptoms appear. Treatment usually involves surgical removal of the female reproductive organs, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The pelvic bones are yellow and fat is orange.
