Model of a disc generator
Description:
Faraday's experiments of 1831 can be demonstrated by this 1870s model of a disc generator which generates a voltage when the copper disc is rotated in the magnetic field between the poles of the electromagnet. If a galvanometer is connected to the terminals at the axle base, a current will flow through the circuit.
