Marginal Cell Lymphoma
Description:
This axial (cross sectional) PET/CT image shows that there is increased metabolic activity related to the extra axial mass in the cerebellopontine angle cistern (CP angle). This is marginal cell lymphoma which could be mistaken for the more common meningioma given this appearance. Marginal cell lymphoma is an indolent form of non-hodgkins lymphoma.
