Description:
Laser hair removal. Plasmalite tool for removing unwanted hair using a laser. The handset is held over the body and pulses of light are passed down the transparent waveguide (centre left). The light causes the hair shaft and follicle to heat up, and eventually the follicle dies and the hair cannot regrow. Several treatments may be needed to remove hairs from a region entirely.
