Human cloning
Description:
Cloned babies. Conceptual computer artwork of cloned foetuses developing in jars on a DNA autoradiogram. The sequence of coloured bands on the autoradiogram represents the code contained in their genetic material or DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). Cloning exactly copies an organism by implanting its genetic material into eggs from the same species. It is theoretically possible to produce unlimited numbers of identical copies of a person, by placing their DNA into human eggs that have had their genetic material removed.
