Endocytotic Epithelium, TEM
Description:
Transmission electron micrograph of the principal cells of the lining epithelium of the human epididymal duct, containing multivesicular bodies and other lysosomes. This epithelium is active in endocytosis; coated vesicles and multivesicular bodies are a conspicuous feature of their apical cytoplasm. The more common dense lysosomes are also abundant.
