Description:
A final or 5th instar dew covered common green shield bug (Palomena prasina). The final instar before the full adult can be found in two colour forms with nearly all uniform green or a mixed light and dark form. A very common species found in woods, parks and gardens. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in July.
