Description: Baby's medicine. Syringe (without a needle) being used to deliver a measured oral dose of Calpol to a 5-week-old baby. Calpol is a suspension of paracetamol, a painkilling drug, and is designed for use in young babies. It is often given after immunization to treat moderate pain and to reduce any resulting fever. The standard dose of 5 millilitres (ml) contains 120 milligrams (mg) of paracetamol.
